Tomás writes long-form essays about walking through European cultural cities. He has never sold a guided tour. He has, however, walked the same route through the Jordaan thirteen times across nine years, and intends to walk it again.
What this site is
A small editorial site. Long essays about walking through European cities. The cities are usually old, the routes are usually slow, and the essays are usually longer than they need to be. New essay every six to eight weeks. Some weeks shorter, some weeks not at all.
What this site is not
It is not a tour-booking site. It is not a travel guide. It is not affiliated with any of the museums, cafés, bookshops or restaurants mentioned in the essays. Nothing on this site is sponsored. Nothing on this site has an affiliate link.

I respond to most email within a week. Writing about cities, walking, books, or asking me where I had the croissant: yes, write. Asking me to lead a tour: I will say no, politely.
